The Additive Manufacturing for Biotechnology Core is a resource for additive manufacture and testing of advanced biological material constructs. The State of Ohio Third Frontier Program provided support for the major Core equipment: a 3D-Bioplotter (EnvisionTEC) for fabrication of biocompatible tissue scaffolds from a wide array of materials, from soft hydrogels over polymer melts to hard ceramics and metals.
